Description

The day started out at -29F and totally calm. By afternoon the winds picked up and I was drawn out onto the Lake Michigan ice by the Manistee Lighthouse. Even with bitter windchill, I couldn't leave the spectacular waves crashing into the rugged ice. Out of hundreds of shots, this wave kind of stood out from the rest, I call it the Mermaid Tail! This is my square version.
